Series 1 – 2007

The first series of concerts by The Handel Collection took place in the Church of St Stephen Walbrook in early 2007.  These concerts presented all 12 of Handel’s principal Organ Concertos each performed by a different leading organ soloist accompanied by The Handel Collection.  The Organ Concerto was a form essentially invented by Handel and the concerts were an outstanding success.  They inspired those people who would soon come together as the founding Trustees of the Walbrook Music Trust: John Seagrim, Edward Adams, Raymond Salisbury-Jones and Peter Jennings.
